Riunione in serata per le delegazioni dei paesi che parteciperanno alle Deaflympics del prossimo dicembre qui a Santa Caterina di Valfurva: il presidente del comitato organizzatore, Pier Alessandro Samueli, ha dato il benvenuto ai partecipanti e ha dato inizio ai lavori con la presentazione del team e dei partner coinvolti nella preparazione di questo attesissimo evento. Il Presidente della Fssi, Guido Zanecchia, federazione della nazione ospitante ha salutato i presenti ricordando a tutti lo sforzo che questa nazione ha deciso di compiere per il bene dello sport silenzioso, in appena poco più di un anno. I delegati sono arrivati da 12 paesi, molti dall’Europa, ma anche da Stati Uniti, Canada e Korea del Sud e sono pronti a trascorrere giornate di lavoro intense tra le splendide montagne di Valtellina e Valchiavenna.
A meeting was held tonight for the delegates of the countries participating at the next December 2019 Deaflympics here in Santa Caterina di Valfurva: Pier Alessandro Samueli, OC President, welcomed the participants and presented his team and partners involved in the preparation of this upcoming event. Guido Zanecchia, FSSI – Italian Deaf Sport Federation – President greeted all the delegates reminding everyone of the work and effort that this nation has decided to make for the deaf sport, in just over a year. The delegates come from 12 different countries, most of them from Europe but also from US, Canada and South Korea, and they’re ready to spent days of intense work between the wonderful mountains of Valtellina and Valchiavenna.
